Rattlesnake Reading Series is held on the second Wednesday of each month from 7:30-9pm at:

The Book Collector (Home of the Snake)

1008 24th Street

(between J and K Streets)

Sacramento, CA

916-442-9295

Most of the readings are release parties for RattleChaps/SpiralChaps, as well as for the littlesnake broadside for that month.  Readings are free to the public, and each is followed by refreshments and a read-around—bring poems, either your own or somebody else's!

Did you know that a herd of rattlers is known as a “rhumba of rattlesnakes”?

Coming Attractions

There will be no reading in January, but join us on Weds., February 10, for a tribute to Tiger’s Eye Press, including a new chapbook by Kathy Kieth (Emily and the High Cost of Living). That’s at The Book Collector, 1008 24th St., Sacramento, 7:30 PM. Free!
