•Thesaurus: Roget’s Thesaurus, Sixth Edition, Ed. by Barbara
Ann Kipfer and Robert L. Chapman, Harper Collins, New York,
2001. This, or any other of the previous Chapman editions of
this thesaurus, is priceless. Splurge—buy the big one with the
thumb tabs and other gadgets. You’ll use it, not only for
alternative words, but for poetry triggers, categories of things
like seashells, fireworks, and other uses we haven’t even
thought of yet. Your muse will love it!
